FOUR CHARGED IN SEPARATE INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE INVESTIGATIONS

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Four individuals have been charged in connection with separate intimate partner violence investigations.
On Friday, May 29, 2026, at approximately 11:25 am, members of the Norfolk County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an assault that had taken place on Monday, May 4, 2026, at an address in Norfolk County.
The investigation determined that an interaction took place between two individuals on the property, during which one person assaulted and threatened the other, stole property belonging to the victim, and caused injuries to animals owned by the victim.
As a result, a 55-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:
- Assault - spousal, - Uttering threats - cause death or bodily harm - spousal, - Theft, - Killing or injuring animals, - Cruelty to animals - unnecessary pain, suffering or injury, - Fail to comply with Probation Order
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
Later that same day, at approximately 2:00 pm, officers responded to a separate report of an assault at another address in Norfolk County.
The investigation determined that an interaction occurred between two individuals on the property, during which one person assaulted the other, resulting in minor injuries. During the course of the investigation, officers also learned of a previous assault involving the same individuals that had occurred in July 2025.
As a result, a 44-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:
- Assault - spousal - two counts
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
On Saturday, May 30, 2026, at approximately 3:14 am, officers responded to a separate report of an assault at another address in Norfolk County.
The investigation determined that an interaction occurred between two individuals on the property, during which one person assaulted the other. No injuries were reported.
As a result, a 27-year-old from London, Ontario, was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:
- Assault - spousal, - Failure to comply with undertaking
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
Later that same day, at approximately 2:07 pm, officers responded to a separate report of an assault at another address in Norfolk County.
The investigation determined that an interaction occurred between two individuals on the property, during which one person assaulted the other. No injuries were reported.
As a result, a 35-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:
- Assault - spousal
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
