SIMCOE BREAK-AND-ENTER INVESTIGATION LEADS TO CHARGE

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged following a recent break-and-enter investigation in Simcoe.
On Sunday, April 19, 2026, at approximately 1:27 am, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break-and-enter on Grey Fox Lane.
The investigation determined that an individual forcibly entered a residence on the property before leaving the area.
Officers later located an individual matching the suspect description nearby and took them into custody without incident.
As a result, 56-year-old Sheila HUNT of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offence:
- Break, enter dwelling house - commit indictable offence
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
