POLICE SEEK PUBLIC ASSISTANCE TO IDENTIFY SUSPECT IN THEFT INVESTIGATION

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual in connection with a theft investigation in Port Dover.
On Monday, February 23, 2026, at approximately 8:55 am, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft on Angler Avenue in Port Dover.
The investigation determined that sometime overnight, one or more unidentified individuals unlawfully entered a vehicle on the property and stole miscellaneous tools and a wallet containing bank cards. The stolen cards were later used at a business on Highway 6 in Jarvis, Haldimand County, by an unidentified Caucasian male wearing a black toque, dark-coloured reflective overalls, and black footwear. The suspect was observed arriving and departing in a light grey 2008-2010 GMC Sierra pickup truck.
