THREE INDIVIDUALS CHARGED FOLLOWING INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE INVESTIGATIONS

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Three individuals have been charged in connection with separate intimate partner violence investigations.
On Monday, February 9, 2026, at approximately 7:11 pm, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a reported dispute at a residence in Norfolk County.
The investigation determined that two individuals were involved in an interaction inside the home, during which both assaulted one another. Minor injuries were reported, and both individuals were taken into custody without incident.
As a result, a 65-year-old resident of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offence:
- Assault - spousal
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
Also charged is a 51-year-old resident of Norfolk County with the following alleged offences:
- Assault with a weapon - spousal, - Fail to comply with Probation Order
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
On Thursday, February 12, 2026, at approximately 8:12 pm, officers responded to a reported dispute at a residence in Norfolk County.
The investigation determined that between December 2025 and February 2026, multiple incidents occurred inside the home involving two individuals, during which one assaulted the other and caused damage to the victim’s property. It was further determined that the victim had also been followed by the same individual at other locations within Norfolk County.
As a result, a 35-year-old resident of Norfolk County was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:
- Assault - spousal - two counts, - Assault with a weapon - spousal, - Criminal harassment - repeatedly follow, - Mischief - obstructs, interrupts or interferes with the lawful use, enjoyment, or operation of property
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
