TWO CHARGED IN SEPARATE INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE INVESTIGATIONS

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Two individuals have been charged in connection with separate intimate partner violence investigations.
On Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at approximately 5:49 pm, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a dispute at a Norfolk County address.
The investigation determined that two individuals were involved in an interaction at the location, during which one person assaulted the other, resulting in minor injuries.
As a result, a 36-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:
- Assault - spousal
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
At approximately 6:17 pm that same day, officers responded to a separate Norfolk County address following a report of an assault.
The investigation determined that two individuals were involved in an interaction at the location, during which one person assaulted the other, resulting in minor injuries.
As a result, a 24-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:
- Assault - spousal
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
