SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE INVESTIGATION RESULTS IN IMPAIRED DRIVING CHARGES

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged following an impaired driving investigation in Simcoe.
On Friday, January 30, 2026, at approximately 7:24 pm, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Orchard Avenue in Simcoe.
Officers located the vehicle and, following an interaction with the driver, took the individual into custody without incident.
As a result, 38-year-old Colin KRAGTEN of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs, - Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
