TWO DRIVERS CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED DRIVING

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Two individuals have been charged following separate impaired driving incidents.
Officers located the vehicle and engaged with the driver, who was subsequently taken into custody without incident.
As a result, 34-year-old Robert SHARPE of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs, - Dangerous operation, - Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code, - Fail to comply with Probation Order, - Failure to comply with release order - other than to attend court
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Monday, February 9, 2026.
Later that day, at approximately 7:51 pm, officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck on Schafer Side Road, just outside of Delhi.
The investigation determined the vehicle was travelling along Schafer Side Road when it left the roadway and entered a ditch. No injuries were reported.
Officers located the vehicle at the scene and, following an interaction with the driver, took the individual into custody without incident.
As a result, 55-year-old Waldemar KUZNIAR of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs, - Failure or refusal to comply with demand
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
