CHARGES LAID IN SIMCOE ASSAULT INVESTIGATION

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged in connection with an assault investigation in Simcoe.
On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at approximately 7:26 pm, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an assault at a location on Young Street in Simcoe.
The investigation determined that two individuals were involved in an interaction, during which one person assaulted the other. The victim sustained minor injuries.
As a result, 33-year-old Jimmy Lee FELTON of Norfolk County was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:
- Fail to comply with Probation Order - two counts, - Disobeying order of court, - Assault with a weapon, - Possess unmarked cigarettes
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
