CHARGE LAID FOLLOWING INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE INVESTIGATION

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged following an intimate partner violence investigation.
On Saturday, March 28, 2026, at approximately 11:23 pm, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an assault at a Norfolk County address.
The investigation determined that earlier that day, at approximately 11:45 am, two individuals were involved in an interaction on the property during which one individual assaulted the other. No injuries were reported.
As a result, a 39-year-old resident of Norfolk County was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:
- Assault - spousal
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
