(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Four individuals are facing charges following separate intimate partner violence investigations.

On Friday, May 8, 2026, at approximately 1:56 pm, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of harassment at a Norfolk County address.

The investigation determined that between Friday, May 1, and Friday, May 8, 2026, the victim was subjected to ongoing, unwanted electronic communications from another individual.

As a result, a 56-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Harassing communications

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.

The investigation determined that two individuals were involved in an interaction on the property, which prompted the call to police. While at the scene, officers also learned that the same individuals had been involved in a separate interaction approximately two weeks earlier, during which one person threatened the other.

As a result, a 43-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Uttering threats - cause death or bodily harm - spousal

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.

The investigation determined that two individuals were involved in an interaction inside a residence on the property, during which one person assaulted the other. No injuries were reported.

As a result, a 50-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Assault - spousal

While the accused was initially released from custody, officers later learned that the individual had contacted the victim and returned to the residence contrary to their release conditions.

As a result, the accused was taken back into custody and charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Failure to comply with Undertaking - two counts

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.

The investigation determined that two individuals had an interaction inside a residence on the property, during which one person assaulted and threatened the other. No injuries were reported.

As a result, a 50-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Assault - spousal, - Uttering threats - cause death or bodily harm - spousal

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
