POLICE SEEK PUBLIC ASSISTANCE TO IDENTIFY SHOPLIFTING SUSPECT IN SIMCOE

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual in connection with a shoplifting incident in Simcoe.
On Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at approximately 2:51 pm, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of shoplifting at a business on Queensway East in Simcoe.
The investigation determined that an unidentified individual, described as a Caucasian female wearing glasses, a black jacket, and a grey toque, entered the store, concealed merchandise, and attempted to leave without paying. Following an interaction with a store employee, the suspect fled the area on foot and is believed to have travelled through the Berkeley Crescent and Thorncliffe Road area.
