POLICE SEEK PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN PORT DOVER THEFT INVESTIGATION

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an individual in connection with a theft investigation in Port Dover.
On Monday, February 16, 2026, at approximately 2:52 pm, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft on Concession 5 Woodhouse in Port Dover.
The investigation determined that sometime between Friday, February 13, and Saturday, February 14, 2026, one or more unidentified individuals removed property from the victim’s mailbox, including a credit card. The stolen credit card was later used at a business on Main Street in Port Dover shortly before 2 pm on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
Police are looking to identify a Caucasian male, approximately 30 years of age, with reddish-brown facial hair, who was wearing a yellow toque and a black jacket, and was observed in the area at the time the card was used.
