(CENTRE WELLINGTON TWP, ON) - The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), alongside local emergency services responded to a combine harvester that caught fire, igniting the surrounding field.
On August 2, 2025, at approximately 1:30 pm, the Wellington County OPP, alongside local emergency services attended to a fire off Wellington Road 21, just outside of Elora.
On arrival, a combine harvester was observed to be engulfed in flames, which ignited the surrounding field. The operator safely escaped before the combine lit on fire.
No injuries are reported.
