ASSAULT AT LOCAL FESTIVAL RESULTS IN ARREST

(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) - One individual is facing charges following an incident at a local festival.
On May 30, 2026, at approximately 11:00 pm, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a disturbance at a festival in Fergus.
As a result of the investigation, Darryl WHITE, a 44-year-old from Barrie, is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Assault
The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of this incident.
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on August 21, 2026.
