OPP Seeking Public Assistance

(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) - Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying three persons of interest in a recent shoplifting incident in Fergus.

On January 15, 2026, at approximately 7:00 pm, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a theft that occurred at a business on Parkside Drive West in Fergus. Three unidentified suspects entered the store, concealed several bottles of alcohol worth over $2,250, and left the premises without making any attempts to pay.

The OPP is investigating this incident and is looking to identify three persons of interest and the vehicle involved.
