SINGLE VEHICLE ROLLOVER

  • Highway 6(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) - Single vehicle rollover near Highway 6 and Wellington Road 51.

On April 13, 2026, at approximately 7:45 pm, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover near the intersection of Wellington Road 51 and Highway 6, within Guelph-Eramosa Township.

On scene, it was discovered that a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) was driving in a careless manner while navigating a turn in the road, to where they lost control and rolled their vehicle multiple times off the roadway.

The driver sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to local hospital by ambulance.

As a result of the collision, Highway 6 was closed between Wellington Road 22 to Wellington Road 51 and was re-opened several hours later.

As a result of the investigation, a 21-year-old of Fergus was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Careless driving.
