(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) - A Burlington resident has been arrested following an intimate partner violence investigation.
On December 16, 2025, at approximately 4:15 pm, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to reports of a disturbance at an address within Fergus.
As a result of the investigation, a 21-year-old from Burlington, is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Assault - Spousal
- Mischief - Domestic
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph at a later date.
There were no reported injuries.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim(s).
