WELLINGTON OPP EXECUTES SEARCH WARRANT IN ERIN
Three Individuals Arrested
(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) - Three individuals from Erin have been arrested in connection to a vehicle theft investigation.
On April 20, 2026, at approximately 6:30 pm, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to the report of a suspected stolen vehicle being located at a residence within Erin.
On April 21, 2026, members of the Wellington County OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) executed a search warrant at the address and recovered the stolen vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, Anmol DHILLON, a 26-year-old from Erin, was arrested on April 23, 2026, and has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000 - in Canada
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of justice in Guelph on July 14, 2026.
Jayant PURI, a 23-year-old from Erin, was arrested on April 29, 2026, and has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000 - in Canada
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of justice in Guelph on July 24, 2026.
Anureet Kaur DHILLON, a 21-year-old from Erin, was arrested on May 2, 2026, and has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000 - in Canada
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of justice in Guelph on July 21, 2026.
