MILTON MOTORIST CHARGED FOR STUNT DRIVING IN WELLINGTON COUNTY

(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) - A Milton driver is charged following a traffic stop in Morriston.
On April 13, 2026, at approximately 10:00 pm, a member of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit was conducting proactive traffic patrol near Wellington Road 36 and Ochs Street in Morriston, when they observed a vehicle travelling nearly double the posted speed limit.
As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old from Milton, is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Drive motor vehicle - perform stunt - excessive speed
- Speeding 1-49 km/h over posted limit
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Provincial Offences Court in Guelph at a later date.
A 30 day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a 14-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
