One Person Arrested and Charged
(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) - An Erin resident faces charges after an intimate partner violence investigation.
On December 2, 2025, at approximately 11:15 pm, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a disturbance at a residence in the Town of Erin.
As a result of the investigation, a 35-year-old from the Town of Erin, is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Assault - spousal
The accused was released from police custody and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on a later date.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim(s).
