DRIVER CHARGED AFTER ATTEMPTING TO BRIBE A POLICE OFFICER

(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) - A Puslinch driver is charged following a collision.
On January 27, 2026, at approximately 6:45 pm, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a single-vehicle collision in a ditch on Brock Road in Puslinch Township. Officers suspected the driver to be impaired. The driver refused to comply with a demand for a breath sample into an approved alcohol screening device and subsequently attempted to bribe an officer.
As a result of the investigation, Frederick BLOW, a 65-year-old from Puslinch, is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Bribery of officers
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on April 21, 2026.
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
