(WELLINGTON NORTH TWP, ON) - The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges local resident with two Criminal Code charges in relation to an intimate partner violence investigation.
On June 30, 2025, at approximately 9:00 pm, members of the Wellington County OPP were dispatched to a report of a disturbance at an address within Wellington North Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old of Wellington North Township, is charged under the Criminal Code with the following:
- Assault - spousal
- Mischief - domestic
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim(s).
