(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) - A Fergus resident is facing charges following an incident in Fergus.
On May 26, 2026, at approximately 5:30 am, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to the report of a disturbance at a residence in Fergus.
As a result of the investigation, a 23-year-old from Fergus, is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Mischief - destroys or damages property
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph at a later date.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim(s).
