IMPAIRED CHARGES LAID FOLLOWING COLLISION

(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) - a Niagara Falls driver is charged following a collision in Puslinch.
On January 19, 2026, at approximately 11:30 pm, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a single-vehicle collision into a ditch on Highway 6, South of Morriston, in Puslinch Township. The driver did not sustain any reported injuries.
As a result of the investigation, Mandip CHOLLER, a 41-year-old from Niagara Falls, is charged under the Criminal Code, the Highway Traffic Act and the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
- Careless driving
- Fail to surrender insurance card
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on February 3, 2026.
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
