Driver Faces Three Charges
(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) - The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges Priceville resident in relation to a traffic stop within Wellington County.
On March 08, 2026, at approximately 11:00 am, members of the Wellington County OPP were conducting a proactive traffic enforcement initiative and initiated a traffic stop on Wellington Road 6 within the Town of Minto.
As a result of the investigation, a 38-year-old from Priceville is charged under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act and the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Owner cause motor vehicle to operate without insurance
- Operate unsafe vehicle
- Drive motor vehicle, no plates
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Provincial Offences Court - Guelph at a later date.
