TRAFFIC COMPLAINTS LEAD TO CHARGES

(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) - A Kitchener driver has been charged following several traffic complaints.
On April 25, 2026, at approximately 11:45 pm, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), received multiple traffic complaints of a dangerous driver. Members conducted patrols and located the vehicle in a ditch along Highway 6 outside of Arthur in Wellington North Township.
As a result of the investigation, Stephan STREHL, a 26-year-old from Kitchener is charged under the Criminal Code and the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with:
- Dangerous operation
- Owner operate a motor vehicle without insurance
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on July 17, 2026.
