TWO MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION CLOSES ROADWAY

(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) - Two motor vehicle collision results in a rollover into a ditch, minor injuries and a driver being charged.
On June 10, 2025, at approximately 10:00 pm, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), alongside local emergency services, responded to a two motor-vehicle collision at the intersection of Side Road 5 and Trafalgar Road, just north of Ballinafad.
It was discovered that as a result of the collision, a truck had a roll-over into a nearby ditch and struck a hydro-pole. All parties were transported to local hospital with minor, non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 21-year-old of Erin was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Fail to yield to traffic on through highway
