(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) - Individual charged following incident in Guelph-Eramosa.
On February 3, 2026, at approximately 2:00 pm, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of an altercation at an address within Guelph-Eramosa Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 54-year-old from Guelph-Eramosa, is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Assault - spousal
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on a later date.
The victim did not sustain any reported injuries.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim(s).
