Unsafe Commercial Motor Vehicle - Six Charges Laid
(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) - Unsafe commercial motor vehicle. Six charges Laid.
On June 2, 2026, at approximately 10:00 am, the West-Region OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team was conducting proactive traffic enforcement within Wellington County, and performed a traffic stop on James Street within the Town of Minto.
As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old from Southwest Middlesex is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with the following charges:
- Overweight vehicle - violate permit …kg
- Operate unsafe combination of vehicles - commercial motor vehicle
- Drive commercial motor vehicle - improper licence
- Operate commercial motor vehicle - no valid CVOR certificate
- Operate vehicle - fail to display inspection sticker or proof (two counts)
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Provincial Offences Court - Guelph at a later date.
